Strong communities make strong companies. We’re proud to give back to the places we and our customers call home.
Over $40,500 donated to our local community since 2022.
To us at Bob Means Plumbing, community means much more than people…it’s a feeling. And encouraging the preservation of that feeling is at our core. We don’t just work in our community, we engage. From supporting businesses and events to sponsoring youth sports teams, our commitment to showing up for our community is something in which we take great pride. So, when you see our vans driving down your street, or someone from our team wearing their Bob Means shirt at the Broad Street Market, a Little League game, or the Cracked Pot Coffee Shop, say hey!
Being there for our community is part of who we are — and it’s reflected in the way we serve every customer.
We believe in investing in the next generation. By supporting youth programs and education, we help build skills, confidence, and strong futures for the young people who will one day lead our communities.
Our way of life is possible because of the sacrifices made by our veterans. We proudly support those who have served, honoring their commitment with ours to give back in meaningful ways.
A strong community looks out for one another. Whether it’s providing meals, warm clothes, or lending a hand during hard times, we’re committed to standing with our neighbors when they need it most.
Dauphin County Technical School
Building Construction Program
Along with R.F. Fager, we donated materials and master plumbing instruction with our founder, Bob Means, to the Dauphin County Technical School’s “House Project,” a full rehabilitation of a condemned property in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Supporting our local veterans is a cause near and dear to our hearts. Annually, we host Military Appreciation Night with Harrisburg’s MiLB team, the Harrisburg Senators, to raise funds to continue the important work of Veterans Outreach of PA.
