Job Summary:

The Plumbing Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction department, including project planning, team management, budgeting, and execution. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong plumbing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while fostering a productive team environment. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license (preferred but not required) 
  • Proven experience in plumbing construction management 
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems 
  • Proficiency with ServiceTitan, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 
  • Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and compliance 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Leadership & Team Management: Supervise construction team leads and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism. 
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion. 
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality expectations. Conduct inspections and resolve issues as needed. 
  • Financial & Performance Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. 
  • Technical Support & Training: Provide mentorship and training to team members, ensuring they stay current with best practices, safety protocols, and evolving industry standards. 
  • Material & Equipment Management: Oversee procurement, inventory control, and maintenance of tools and equipment to support construction operations. 
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to the President on department performance, project status, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Work Hours & Physical Requirements:

  • Full-time schedule with availability for emergency project management as needed 
  • Ability to work in an office and field environment, supporting crews and project sites 
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
