Job Summary:
The New Construction Team Lead is responsible for managing all plumbing aspects of new
home builds, from underslab work to rough-in and final installation. This role requires strong
technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects on schedule while
maintaining high-quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman plumbing license (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in the construction plumbing field
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
- Understanding of construction procedures and material management
- Familiarity with plumbing quality, health, and safety standards
- Proficiency with ServiceTitan, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination & Supervision: Oversee daily operations, coordinate with the Construction Manager, and supervise crews (typically 1–3 team members per project).
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Installation & Site Management: Read blueprints, install and test plumbing systems, and maintain a clean, safe job site. Coordinate inspections as needed.
- Logistics & Inventory: Order, receive, inspect, and verify materials. Handle returns and adjust inventory with the Construction Manager.
- Team & Customer Relations: Conduct regular team huddles, participate in meetings, provide performance feedback, and meet with contractors and clients as needed.
- Quality Control & Reporting: Perform walkthroughs at different project stages, update the Construction Manager on progress, and assist technicians with troubleshooting.

- Ensuring high-quality installations with minimal rework
- Effective supervision and support of team members
- Adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards
- Customer satisfaction and positive feedback
Work Hours & Physical Requirements:
- Full-time schedule with availability for occasional overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
