New Construction Team Lead

Job Summary:

The New Construction Team Lead is responsible for managing all plumbing aspects of new
home builds, from underslab work to rough-in and final installation. This role requires strong
technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to keep projects on schedule while
maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Journeyman plumbing license (preferred but not required)
• Proven experience in the construction plumbing field
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
• Understanding of construction procedures and material management
• Familiarity with plumbing quality, health, and safety standards
• Proficiency with ServiceTitan, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination & Supervision: Oversee daily operations, coordinate with the Construction Manager, and supervise crews (typically 1–3 team members per project).
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
• Installation & Site Management: Read blueprints, install and test plumbing systems, and maintain a clean, safe job site. Coordinate inspections as needed.
• Logistics & Inventory: Order, receive, inspect, and verify materials. Handle returns and adjust inventory with the Construction Manager.
• Team & Customer Relations: Conduct regular team huddles, participate in meetings, provide performance feedback, and meet with contractors and clients as needed.
• Quality Control & Reporting: Perform walkthroughs at different project stages, update the Construction Manager on progress, and assist technicians with troubleshooting.

Work Hours & Physical Requirements:

• Full-time schedule with availability for occasional overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
